As it is written in St. Matthew 5 verses 28 in the New Testament and I quote “ But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with already in his or her heart” end of quote. In today’s society many would reject this argument and equally many would agree, let’s look at how individuals see themselves and then we will be able to analyze in context what Jesus Christ meant.
Haven’t we hurt our love ones enough and ourselves but most importantly sin against covenant of the marriage or relationship. Who god has put together make no one come between.
Whether one is an atheist or of other religions the biblical story that epitomise the way most of us choose to live our lives is no difference from “Sodom and Gomorrah” many have heard, read or watch on the television, they lived in sin as many of us do currently and the lust for flesh was as prevalent as today.
They mocked the messenger and trivialised “gods” warning for them to repent from their adulterous ways of living, those who believed and followed were speared those who stayed were perished.
Those of us who continue to trivialise his name and his existence, the consequence for not accepting him into our lives whole-heartedly, one after life will be an agonising and relentless discomfort. The provocative dressing many have seeing in the street, while driving or walking, does make one wonder the state of mind of such individual. Those who choose to attire themselves in such provocative manner may have their reasons to attract the same or the opposite sex.
We can agree to disagree that is a big contributory to lust in our society. It is common perceptions that people whom dress in skimpy and transparent outfit doesn’t leave too much for the imagination, but to the observers the inevitable imaginative lust steps in. We live in a society which allows freedom of expression when it suits the cause, but what about dressing responsible enough to be intriguing as a person, not as a sexual object.
Jesus Christ has sent his disciples with warning of his return with vengeance; it is also written not my words, it there for to us read and reflect on ones way of life, he will be returning for wicked and un-repentance of their evil ways.
Think and look around you, the world is in chaos and mayhem, the bible fore told about wars and rumour of wars. We are born in sin and imperfection but for one to see the kingdom of heaven, one needs to accept the lord Jesus Christ as their saviour and worship no other god but him.
